“We Are NA: Recovery Experiences as LGBTQ+ People”
Questions for the moderator:

- The miracle of recovery—what is NA for the LGBTQ+ community?
- What does it do for us? What does it teach us?
- Differences? Let’s look for similarities!

Objective:
To present what NA is, how it works, and what it means to live in recovery.
To explore what it means to be LGBTQ+ within NA.
A space for newcomers to understand the program, and for those already in recovery to build new bridges and deepen their personal growth.
A bridge of hope between the past and the present.

Workshop 1:
“I Didn’t Know This Was a Disease — Understanding Addiction”
or
“Living Clean: A Possible Future — Say No to Drugs”

- Focus:
A space to demystify addiction, understand NA from within, and explore why the program works. Open to questions and curiosity.
Workshop 2:
“Where We Come From: Chemsex, Isolation, Mental Health, Denial…
Where We Are Now — Step by Step: Recovery as a Process”

- Focus:
Sharing the journey—what it was like, what happened, and what it’s like now. Recognition as an essential part of recovery. Participatory dynamic.
Workshop 3:
“Community as a Tool — We Are Not Alone”

- Focus:
The role of community, meetings, sponsorship, and service in clean living. How NA supports long-term recovery.

12:45 – 13:45 | Closing Meeting:
“What I Take With Me Today”
- Where was I coming from, and where am I now?
- What do I want to do with what I have?
- What do I see, and what future am I building?
Structure:

- Open sharing space for reflections, gratitude, and feelings from the day
- Open shares (2–3 minutes each)
